After various easing of domestic and international travel regulations in early 2022, the Island of the Gods Bali has again become a favorite of the people at home and abroad.
Traveloka's Vice President of Commercial, John Safenson, said that international travel was increasingly visible in April-May 2022.
One of them is by increasing flight ticket bookings to Bali.
The increase in flight bookings to Bali experienced a very significant growth, namely seven times compared to Southeast Asian countries, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia.

According to John, who lives in Bali, many foreign tourists have seen walking around while sunbathing or riding motorbikes enjoying the beauty of the Island of the Gods.
2022 travel trends
John explained that Bali has always been a popular destination, both before the Covid-19 pandemic and until now towards an endemic.
Meanwhile, Traveloka's Chief Marketing Office, Shirley Lesmana, said that the travel trend in 2022 in Indonesia will experience an evolution from before the pandemic occurred.
"In 2022, popular activities such as staycations, road trips, planes for weekend gateways or healing to Bali or Yogyakarta, as well as travel insurance," she explained.
These various activity trends began to emerge when the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the world.
If previously tourists preferred indoor areas or shopping tours, now, their preferences are turning to nature tourism and travel insurance, which can better protect themselves during the pandemic.
