TRIBUNBATAM.id - Lion Air (flight code JT) will reopen round-trip international routes (PP) from Kualanamu International Airport (KNO) in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, to Pulau Pinang-Bayan Lepas Airport (PEN), in Penang, Malaysia, starting Friday , (6/17). 

This flight will use a Boeing 737-900 ER aircraft with a capacity of 215 economy class seats, and a Boeing 737-800 Next Generation with a capacity of 189 economy class seats. 

Regarding flight frequency, Lion Air will serve one round-trip flight per day, or seven times a week.

Lion Air schedule for Kualanamu-Penang (round-trip) route

The following is the departure and arrival schedule for the Kualanamu-Penang PP route: 

- The flight number JT-132 departs from Kualanamu at 12.30 WIB and is scheduled to arrive in Penang at 14.30 local time.

- The flight number JT-133 departs from Penang at 15.10 local time and is scheduled to arrive in Kualanamu, Medan at 15.20 WIB. 

Every Lion Air passenger on this route will get a free 20 kilograms (kg) baggage facility.

During the trip, passengers can also enjoy free entertainment.

This entertainment is connected via wireless inflight entertainment powered by Tripper which can be accessed from all smartphones and tablets.

Malaysia entry requirements as of May 1, 2022

The following are the procedures and conditions for traveling to Malaysia from Sunday, 1 May 2022:

- Download and register in the MySejahtera application.

- Fill out the Pre-Departure Form (Traveler Card) and make vaccine verification in the MySejahtera application.

- Travelers must have been fully vaccinated. Meanwhile, travelers aged 12 years and under do not need to do the RT-PCR test before leaving, nor the RDT-Antigen test when they arrive in Malaysia.

- It is not required to have Covid-19 travel insurance.
