Tips to Visit the Indonesian Batik Museum in TMII, Make an Appointment First
The Indonesian Batik Museum in the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) area, East Jakarta, has been officially opened to the public since its soft launc
The museum area has an area of about 3,000 square meters, and consists of seven different rooms, plus the Temporary Exhibition Room.
Therefore, visitors are advised to wear comfortable footwear so that they can explore the museum more comfortably and freely.

4. Obey the visiting conditions
The Indonesian Batik Museum applies a number of visiting conditions, especially before entering the exhibition area.

- Keep wearing a mask when taking photos.
- Do not touch the collection.
- Eating, drinking, smoking and littering are prohibited.
- It is forbidden to use flash when taking pictures. Flash can affect the quality of batik cloth which also has an impact on the fragility of the cloth.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided.
