TRIBUNBATAM.id - Batik Air will open a direct flight route from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali (DPS) to Singapore Changi International Airport (SIN) in April 2023.

Batik Air's new route is expected to facilitate access for tourists and business people who wish to travel to Bali and Singapore.

Bali is one of the popular tourist destinations in Indonesia, while Singapore is one of the big cities in Southeast Asia.

This attractive offer will make it easier for tourists to travel to these two destinations without having to transit.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as of February 2023, the number of tourist arrivals to Bali in December 2022 was 377,276 visits.

This figure increased by around 31.27 percent from the number of tourist arrivals to Bali in November 2022.

It is known, the target number of foreign tourists to Indonesia is around 7.4 million visits.

Meanwhile, the target for the movement of domestic tourists in 2023 is 1.2 billion to 1.4 billion movements.

Not only from the tourism aspect, the opening of the new Batik Air route from Bali to Singapore also aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Singapore.

Whether it's relations in the economic, socio-cultural, educational, and tourism.
