Motorists turning around on Jalan Patimura, Punggur, Kabil Village, Nongsa District, Batam.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Many motorists are still carelessly turning around on Jalan Patimura, Punggur, Kabil Village, Nongsa District, Batam.

Based on Tribunbatam.id monitoring results , Saturday (11/23/2019), at the location of "illegal" u-turn which is a round made by residents and breaking down the road divider (Median) to turn around near Taman Jadinya Indah housing complex.

Even though the U-turn provided by government is not too far from the road divider that was broken into and used for U-turn.

Soleh, one of four-wheelers, regretted the desperate actions of two-wheelers because it was very dangerous for two-wheelers themselves and the drivers of four-wheeled vehicles that passed Jalan Patimura.

"It is very dangerous if we go through that road, sometimes there are those who suddenly turn backwards that are not supposed to and the danger is they will be knocked or hit by other motorists, so it will be a long business," said Soleh.

Soleh hoped related parties closed the turning around because it could endanger other motorists, he also hoped that two-wheelers who often crossed the road could comply with the regulations so could not cause undesirable things.
