TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The flow of International Port shipping in Batam is still hampered by Covid-19 pandemic.
It has been 4 months since the International Port has stopped operating.
"There is still only one ship operating, the ship is from Batam Center International Port for Singapore and Malaysia," said Batam City Port Authority and Harbormaster Public Relations Office (KSOP) Public Relations Office, Aina, Friday (7/8/2020).
The ships operating in one port, said Aina, are limited to only two to four cruise trips.
Two to Singapore and two to Malaysia.
Meanwhile, for the other 4 International Ports, said Aina, they are not yet operational.

"Sekupang International Ferry Port, Harbour Bay International Port, Nongsa International Port, Marina Port are still closed," he said.
The closure of the operation was due to the lack of passengers and the number of visits coming and going.
One of them was observed that Sekupang International Port looked deserted.
The port has not been operating since April 14.
