Blocked By Smog, Today, Residents of Batam and 6 Other Regions Can See The Harvest Moon Early

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Smog of the 'annual disaster' caused by forest fires in the mainland of Riau, this weekend, did not obstruct the beauty of Harvest Moon, or the full moon of the autumn of 2019.  

If the last two days, at 17.00 WIB, the color of the moon is more orange in the Sky of Batam, Kepri, it is the earliest marker of the emergence of the Harvest Moon. 

The more rounded, brighter, and larger than 11 other full moons, will appear in the southern skies on September 13 and 14, 2019.

The annual phenomenon of full moon before autumn in the southern hemisphere or in this sub-tropical region, appears earlier and more orange. 

Besides Batam, there are at least six other regions in Indonesia, which can clearly see the appearance of this whole full moon.

In Indonesia, the majority of its territory is south of the Earth, the Micro Moon will appear on September 14, 2019. 

In Jakarta, according to the estimated Time and Date, Micro Moon will start appearing at 11:32 GMT or 18:32 WIB (GMT + 7). 

Likewise in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, and Yogyakarta, Micro Moon will appear in the sky until 05:35 am/WIB in the next day. 

In Manado and other central of Indonesia areas Micro Moon will appear starting at 19:32 WITA. 

While in Jayapura the full moon of this autumn began to be seen at 20:32 WIT. 

Harvest Moon is usually present ahead of the autumnal turning point (Autumn equinox).

Referring to the gregorian calendar, the autumn turning point falls on September 22 or 23, but the full moon will come earlier, according to EarthSky.
