Todays! Forests At Mega Legenda Batam Get Burnt, 3 Hectares of Land Was Scorched!

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -  Duriangkang Forest, Sei Beduk Subdistrict, on the side of Mega Legenda road heading towards of Punggur, caught fire on Saturday (9/21/2019) around 12:30 WIB.  

Dozens of combined personnel were deployed to dispel the blaze. 

Tribunbatam.id monitoring, there are already 5 units of fire fighter trucks that deployed.

Kasat Samapta Barelang Police, Commissioner Firdaus said, the blaze continued to widen, so that his side had been overwhelmed. 

"Strong winds, plus the blazing sun make the fire spread so fast," he said.

Until now the officers are still on guard at the scene of the fire. 

It is estimated that the fire has consumed 3 hectares of land.
