Opening Ceremony Batam Great Sale at Grand Mall, Ardiwinata: This Efforts To Increase Tourist Visits

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Head of Batam City Culture and Tourism Department (Kadisbudpar), Ardiwinata, officially opened Batam Great Sale promo program at Batam Grand Mall, Tuesday (10/10/2019) afternoon.

According to him, this agenda is one of the right steps in addressing the decline of several malls turnover in Batam these days.

Beside that, for him this program is also a step to increase local and foreign tourist visits for several existing malls.

"In tourism there are three concepts, and this promo is a form of attraction that is by organizing certain events or programs," he explained shortly before the inauguration agenda began.

Two other concepts according to him namely by increasing accessibility or maximum access to facilitate foreign tourists or local tourists to enjoy the tourist area.

"One more amenitas, namely facilities outside of accommodation such as public facilities, restaurants, and others," he continued.

Batam Great Sale promo program itself will provide discounts to visitors up to 70 percent for some types of shopping goods.

"There are several tenants to be established. Later there will also be a spa, sports shop and others. This is certainly interesting," added Ardiwinata again.
