Jokowi was Proud, TNI Wins 12 Times at International Shooting Contest

TRIBUNBATAM.id - President Joko Widodo expressed his pride towards the Indonesian National Army who won the international level shooting competition.

He revealed this when delivering his message during the commemoration ceremony of the 74th anniversary of the TNI at Taxi Way Echo, Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, Saturday (05/10/).

"I congratulate and very proud of the success of you all," Jokowi said.

The TNI won the Australian Army of Skill Arms at Meeting (AASAM) shooting competition. With weapons made by Pindad, the TNI won 12 times in a row. 

The TNI also won the 28th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) shooting competition in 2018 in Malaysia.

"Therefore, on behalf of the Indonesian people, allow me to express my highest gratitude and appreciation to the TNI institutions and all TNI soldiers and retirees," Jokowi said.
