Be Careful, Fake Recruitment in the Name of Garuda Indonesia

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  Garuda Indonesia security officers succeeded in securing and surrendering to the police recruitment fraud who claimed to be the pilot of the state-owned airline.

The mode of fraud perpetrated by the perpetrators is by falsifying the identity cards of Garuda Indonesia employees, and claims to know officials at this airline.

The perpetrators of the initials AMA claimed to be able to help prospective pilots to be able to work at Garuda Indonesia. Officers also secured falsified pilot ID cards and pilot uniforms purchased on the free market.  

"Garuda Indonesia will continue to monitor and cooperate with law enforcement officials related to the ongoing legal process," said M Ikhsan Rosan, Garuda Indonesia VP Corporate Secretary, in a written statement, Saturday (11/16/2019).

Ikhsan emphasized that Garuda Indonesia never collected any fees during the recruitment process. All transportation and accommodation costs during the recruitment process are the responsibility of the respective participants.

Information regarding recruitment activities, Ihksan said, Garuda Indonesia will be conveyed only through the official career website at http://career.garuda-indonesia.com or through Garuda's official social media.

Ikhsan added, Garuda Indonesia was not responsible for any losses that participants experienced related to alleged fraud attempts that occurred in the recruitment and selection process. (*)
