BP Batam Strengthens Connectivity With Singapore Entrepreneurs
Batam Business Entity (BP) continues to improve its network with Singapore. Singapore is still the country with the most capital invested in Batam.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - Batam Business Entity (BP) continues to improve its network with various groups in the world.
One of them is with a neighboring country, Singapore.
During the visit, Dendi along with Head of Promotion Sub-Office, Ariastuty Sirait and Liaison Officer in Singapore, Gloria Tan discussed further about the cooperation that could be established between Batam and Singapore, after a meeting was held at Embassy of Republic Singapore in Jakarta last week.
The one-hour meeting was welcomed directly by SBF's ASEAN Global Business Division Director Mike Lee and Assistant Manager, Sylvia Hann.
In his presentation Dendi explained in advance about the changes that occurred at BP Batam based on government regulation number 62 of 2019.
"Right now all permits in Batam can be more easily carried out with a leadership command, and we hope this will also help investors, especially from Singapore to invest their capital in Batam," said Dendi, in BP Batam Public Relations release received by Tribunbatam.id.
Beside to simplifying investment licensing, infrastructure development such as seaports, airports, highways, logistics, and industrial development towards 4.0 are priorities for BP Batam going forward.
This is to increase connectivity with the international world.
"Hopefully with the creation of modern connectivity, Batam will be increasingly recognized in the global business world," he explained.
"The existence of Global Connect in SBF or some kind of trying clinic, we certainly want to increase cooperation with BP Batam, so that companies or investors who have or will invest their capital in Batam can be directly connected to BP Batam," said SBF's ASEAN Global Business Division Director, Mike Lee after the meeting.
