Russian Investor Iceberg Explores The Possibility of Developing Electric Energy in Batam

Iceberg Russia's visit was received directly by Head of Promotion and Protocol Public Relations Bureau Dendi Gustinandar, Director of Traffic Services and Investment Purnomo Andiantono, Head of Promotion Ariastuty Sirait, Head of BP Batam Integrated Services Unit Evi Elfiana and Head of Investor Relations Afthar Fallahziz.

Iceberg JSC offers BP Batam be able to develop a Floating Power Plant (development of electric power that is above water) with an atomic energy source as the core of an energy source.
Aleksey Petrov and Sergey Korneevets who were accompanied by Ilya Shirmanov, representatives of Russian Government in Jakarta, expressed their interest in being able to collaborate, specifically the plan to develop Floating Power Plant in Batam area and they also discussed how they could contribute to the development of industrial growth in Batam.
"We are here as partners who want to offer what we have been doing for several years in an effort to develop energy, also to sustain industry needs, especially in Batam. Given the potential possessed by Batam as an industrial and investment area," said Aleksey Petrov .
They also discussed efforts to build Floating Power Plant in Batam that has the status of free trade zone which has many advantages if they invest in Batam, and in the meeting also discussed how the procedures for building a company in Batam both from licensing, location as well as information about financing efforts in realizing the project plan.
Head of Promotion and Protocol Public Relations Bureau Dendi Gustinandar explained to them, the potential of Batam as an investment destination area in Riau Islands region with the status of a free trade area.
"Now is the right time for Batam to be able to revive as an investment destination in Riau Islands region. We hope that Iceberg's visit here will provide a breath of fresh air for Batam's development going forward. Of course, through them information about Batam will be conveyed given that it is still many do not know the potential possessed by Batam, "said Dendi Gustinandar.
Dendi also told them if they wanted to cooperate with the company, especially in Batam it would help and assist them so this could be realized.
