Chairman of the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling, Doni Monardo (center), accompanied by relevant officials gave information to the latest news media about the COVID-19 case at BNPB Headquarters, Jakarta, Saturday (3/14/2020). In his statement Doni said that COVID-19 positive cases numbered 96 cases per Saturday (3/14/2020), of the total cases, 8 recovered and 5 died. 

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  Head of Public Relations of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Rita Rosita confirmed the extension of the status of disaster emergency caused by the Corona virus until May 29, 2020.

That was stated in BNPB Decree Number 13A signed by Doni Monardo as the Head of BNPB.

"That's right (there is a decree)," Rita said in a written statement to reporters on Tuesday (3/17/2020). 

Based on the document that has been confirmed, there are four points in the decision of the Head of BNPB regarding the extension of the status of certain emergencies from the outbreak of the corona virus in Indonesia.

First, to determine the extension of the status of certain emergencies from disease outbreaks due to Corona virus in Indonesia

Second, the extension of the status of certain conditions referred to in the first dictum is valid for 91 days, starting from 29 February 2020 to 29 May 2020. 

Third, all costs incurred as a result of the stipulation of this decree are charged to the ready-made funds available at BNPB.

Fourth, this decision shall take effect on the date it is stipulated that if there is a mistake in the future, an improvement will be made accordingly.

The letter was set on February 29, 2020. 

So far, the government has announced 172 cases of patients who tested positive for the corona virus or Covid-19.

The five people have died after being tested positive for the Corona virus.
