Batam Health Department Orders 2 Thousand Kits for Rapid Test, Here's The Prioritize

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Rapid Test, related to Corona virus will soon be conducted in Batam City, Riau Islands Province.

Head of Batam City Health Department (Kadinkes), Didi Kusmarjadi said tests conducted to determine the potential for someone infected with this dangerous virus will be carried out if the test equipment has arrived.

"Two thousand test kits have been ordered for the initial stage (procurement stage). Just waiting," he told TribunBatam.id, Tuesday (03/24/2020).

In the initial stages, it requested that 1,572 Batam residents who were included in the Monitoring Insider (ODP) be the top priority.

"Of course. Our main target is definitely the ODP," he added.

Didi asked that Batam residents remain calm while the government related to prevention efforts, so the spread of this dangerous virus can be minimized.

Previously, as many as 1,572 Batam residents were included in the Insider Monitoring (ODP) category of Corona virus.

From 1,572, 737 residents need to be medically examined.
