United Against Corona Virus, 11 Hotels in Batam Provides Assistance to Government
11 hotels in Batam City, Riau Islands Province, provided assistance in the form of toiletries to City Government of Batam to deal with Corona virus.
The delivery of this assistance was on the Main Stage at Dataran Engku Puteri, Batam Center.
Leader of Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) of Batam City, Muhammad Mansur said the assistance was a positive step for hoteliers in Batam for support Batam Government to prevent Corona virus.
He mentioned that the 11 hotels, namely Harmoni Hotel, gave 100 towels, Grand I Hotel 70 towels, 100 toothbrushes, and 200 toiletries.
Then Nite & Day 50 toothbrushes and 168 soaps, Beverly Hotel 200 toothbrushes, Nagoya Mansion 150 toothbrushes, SP Hotel 200 toothbrushes, I Hotel 200 toothbrushes, The Hills Hotel 100 toothbrushes and 50 hand towels.
Then Batam City Hotel 200 towels and 100 toothbrushes, Sahid Hotel 2 gallons of liquid soap, and Vista Hotel 50 bed sheets, 50 bed covers, 20 pillowcases, and 50 toothbrushes.
The delivery of this aid was immediately received by Deputy Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Achmad accompanied by Batam City Secretary, Jefridin, Head of Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) of Batam City, Ardiwinata, Head of Batam City Health Office, Didi Kusmarjadi, and hoteliers.
At present all parties need support and enthusiasm in the form of material and financial.
"Batam City Government would like to thank for the care and assistance provided by PHRI. This assistance is useful and very helpful at least for our brothers and sisters who are currently undergoing quarantine for the next 14 days," he said. (TribunBatam.id / Roma Uly Sianturi)
