TRIBUNBATAM.id, TANJUNGPINANG- New Corona virus or Covid-19 positive patients in Tanjungpinang have a history of travel to Malaysia in early March 2020.
The 56-year-old Corona virus positive patient complained of fever and cough after 4 days after returning from Malaysia.
Head of Tanjungpinang Health Office Rustam explained related to second patient who Corona virus positive confirmed.
He said the patient was currently being treated at Raja Ahmad Tabib Hospital Tanjungpinang.
"We know the patient is positive on Friday (3/26/2020) at 13.30 WIB," he said, Saturday (3/28/2020).
He continued, the patient was a 56-year-old male.

On March 1, 2020 the patient with a group of 10 people left for Sri Petaling and Batu Pahat Malaysia through Sri Bintan Pura (SBP) Tanjungpinang Port in order to participate an activity.
"The group returned to Tanjungpinang via SBP Port on March 13, 2020, and went straight to one of the places, and stayed there for 1 day, then continued to another place for 3 days, then returned to the starting place on March 17, 2020, "he said.
And Tuesday (3/17/2020), patients complained of fever, cough, runny nose, muscle aches, and body aches and nosebleeds.
"In the next day, the patient went to Independent Practitioner, then went home and rested, but his health did not improve. The patient experienced a decline in health, and would be referred to RAT Hospital but he was absent and could not be traced so he failed to be taken to RAT Hospital in that day, "he explained.
Fortunately, on Thursday (3/19/2020) at 21:00 West Indonesia Time, patients could be tracked and referred to the RAT Hospital by a team from the Health Service, PP and KB of Tanjung Pinang City.
"Furthermore, Friday, March 20, 2020, a swab and blood collection was taken for the Covid-19 examination by Batam BTKL Team, and Tanjungpinang PP and KB Health Service officers at RAT Hospital," he said.
"Friday (3/27/2020) the results of swab sample examination for patient from Republic of Indonesia Research and Development Agency through BTKL PP with positive conclusion confirmed results," he added.
