Prevent Corona Virus, Roads in Nagoya Batam Sprayed by Disinfectants

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM- Barelang police (Polres Barelang) muster disperse spraying disinfectants on roads in Nagoya on Saturday (3/29/2020).

Spraying of disinfectants takes place starting at 18:00 WIB.

This was done to prevent the spread of Corona virus or Covid-19.

To extend spraying, Barelang Police Traffic Unit closed Nagoya roads, Batam, on Saturday (3/28/2020) tonight.

Head of Traffic Barantas Barelang Police, Commissioner Yunita Stevany explained the road closure policy was carried out to facilitate the spraying of disinfectant liquid on the protocol road.

"As for the protocol road which is closed from Harmoni Three Intersection to McDonald Match Post, starting at 18:00 WIB until it is finished," Yunita explained.

But before blocking the road, his side took to the streets, especially in Nagoya area to socialize it.

"We deliberately took to the streets, especially in Nagoya area to socialize the blocking of this road, so that later the public will understand this policy," Yunita said.

"Because, blocking this road, the traffic flow is automatically closed for a while," he added.

Do not forget, he appealed to the whole community to remain at home.

"Let's press together the spread of the Corona virus, especially in Batam City," he said.
