"I have told Mr. Rudi Sakyakirti (Health Department) to collect a garment company. Hopefully it can be sold at a capital price, if possible," he said.

Previously, the quarantine of region was actually the authority from Central Government which determined it.

Thus was confirmed by Head of Communication and Information Department (Diskominfo) as well as a spokesperson of Batam City Covid-19 Task Force, Azril Apriansyah.

"Mayor mentioned the quarantine per zone. Although it is not known in the rules regarding the handling of Covid-19," Azril said.

He emphasized that the quarantine per zone in question was to do tightened social distancing.

So what kind of application?

"Currently, preparations are still being made, data collection is still being worked out, basic food aid is still being prepared, but social distancing has begun to be tightened," he said.

The integrated team has increasingly intensively descended to monitor and crack down on places of crowd.
