Jokowi Asks Entrepreneurs not to Fire Employees Amid the Covid-19 Plague
President Joko Widodo asked employers not to lay off employees amid the coronavirus pandemic or Covid-19.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - President Joko Widodo asked employers not to lay off employees amid the coronavirus pandemic or Covid-19.
"I invite all entrepreneurs to work hard to stand up the workers," Jokowi said at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (04/09/2020).
Jokowi realized that the Covid-19 pandemic really made economic conditions more difficult.
All professions are also affected, for example, entrepreneurs, employees, factory workers, taxi drivers, bus drivers, truck drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers, parking attendants, crafters, small traders, micro-businesses, and many more.
For this reason, Jokowi hopes that the community can also work together and help each other.
"I invite all parties to care for the less fortunate people. By working together nationally, we can maintain the achievements of development and use them to leapfrog progress," Jokowi said.
