TRIBUNBATAM.id, TANJUNGPINANG - Tanjungpinang City Government is arguably successful in suppressing the Covid-19 cases.
That's after almost a month, there were no additional Covid-19 patients in the capital of Riau Islands.
Therefore, the government is also actively promoting new life behaviors to the community.
Head of Tanjungpinang Health Department Rustam said, the new productive and safe or New Normal life behavior policy of Covid-19 came into force on June 15, 2020.
This policy is based on Tanjungpinang Mayor Regulation Number 29/2020.
In this policy, Tanjungpinang Government regulates community activities in various sectors of life in line with efforts to prevent transmission of Covid-19.

The implementation of new productive and safe life habits of the community must be in accordance with health protocol.
Regulated activities include the economic, religious sector which involves worship in houses of worship, social, culture and education.
The use of masks, the provision of hand washing facilities and soap, as well as maintaining distance when interacting are the most important parts of the activity.
"Violations of these regulations will be subject to sanctions, ranging from verbal, written reprimands, temporary closure of business premises to revocation of business licenses," he said, who is also the spokesperson for Covid-19 Tanjungpinang Handling Task Force, Sunday (6/21).
He also reminded all community members to be able implement health protocols during their activities.
Any person who violates the health protocol will be subject to criminal sanctions under Health Quarantine Act.
"We hope that every member of the community adopts a health protocol in their activities to avoid contracting Covid-19," he warned.
The determination of Tanjungpinang as a city that carries out normalcy has only fulfilled 6 conditions set by WHO.
