Prospective Ship Passengers Could Rapid Test at Batam Sekupang Port, The Cost is IDR 280.000
Passengers who will board a ship to 3 destinations namely Kuala Tungkal, Buntung and Tembilahan must now show the results of Covid-19 Rapid Test.
TRIBUNBATAM.id, JAKARTA - For prospective passengers who will board a ship to 3 destinations namely Kuala Tungkal, Buntung and Tembilahan must now show the results of Covid-19 Rapid Test.
This is in accordance with the latest rules that come into force on Thursday, June 25, 2020.
However, for those who have not had time to do a Rapid Test and must leave immediately or do not know of the existence of these rules, they can do a Rapid Test at Batam's Sekupang Domestic Port.
Based on the monitoring of TRIBUNBATAM.id, Sekupang Domestic Port has provided Covid-19 Rapid Test inspection services.
For one check, prospective passengers must pay a fee of IDR 280.000.
Previously reported, Sekupang Domestic Port, Batam now requires that every passenger who will sail to a number of areas that are determined must show the results of Rapid Tests.

Based on the monitoring of TRIBUNBATAM.id, Friday (06/26/2020) every passenger who enters Domestic Port departure gate, the officer immediately conducts an inspection.
At the entrance there is a check by Port Health Office (KKP) officer assisted by BP Batam and KSOP Ditpam quarantine.
"Specific destination passengers must show the results of a Rapid Test, at least the last three days before leaving," said a KKP officer while checking the health of visitors at Sekupang Domestic port.
He said, not all passengers must show a Rapid Test. Only certain areas.
Meanwhile, Head of Batam Class 1 Port Health Office (KKP), Achmad Farchanny said Rapid Test policy was carried out for every passenger with a specific regional destination.
"Following SE cluster number 7, SE Director General of Hubla and following the policies adopted by the regional government and the destination area, passengers must undergo a Rapid Test," he said.
The chief manager of Sekupang Domestic port, Sohirnadi, said that passengers who must conduct Rapid Tests are only passengers heading to Riau Mainland.
"Not all passengers are required to Rapid Test, it is only for Kuala Tungkal, Buntung and Tembilahan. We have just received a letter from the local district government," he said.
