In addition, Suwarso revealed another advantage of Batam's Hang Nadim Airport as Logistics Aerocity, namely, the acquisition of land allocations of 1,762 hectares, of which only 40 percent has been utilized so far.

"With all these advantages, Batam Hang Nadim Airport is very suitable as a logistics center," Suwarso added.

Previously, the aviation industry market at Hang Nadim Airport had begun to form with an average growth of more than 10 percent per year.

Moreover, the status of Batam, Rempang and Galang as a trade zone and free port (Free Trade Zone) also strongly supports Hang Nadim Airport to become Logistics Aerocity.
