TRIBUNBATAM.id - Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, revealed that there are eight districts/cities that have the status of the red zone for four consecutive weeks.
"Within one month, in the red zone status without any changes," Wiku said in an online press conference from the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (6/8/2020).
The eight areas are: West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, Semarang City, Banjar Regency, Banjar Baru City, Tabalong Regency, Medan and Deli Serdang Regency.
Wiku asked local regents and mayors to pay attention to the handling of Covid-19 in their respective areas.

Regional Heads are also asked to report the obstacles they face to the national Covid-19 Task Force.
"And so that it becomes a concern, for all members of society in these eight districts/cities not to be tired of implementing health protocols," said Wiku.
"That is, by keeping your distance, washing your hands and wearing masks because this is the only way we can control this case," he said.
Furthermore, he hopes that there will be improvements so that the conditions in the eight regions can soon improve. (*)
