UPDATE October 21: Increased by 123, the Number of Covid-19 Patients who Died to 12,857 People

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of deaths due to Covid-19 has increased until Wednesday, (21/10/2020). 

In the past 24 hours, the Covid-19 Handling Task Force reported an additional 123 cases of death. 

Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died was 12,857 people. 

The data was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through documents broadcast to journalists, Wednesday afternoon. Data can also be accessed via the covid19.go.id site.

Based on the data, there were an additional 4,267 positive cases of Covid-19 in a day, bringing the total Covid-19 cases in the country to 373,109 cases.

Meanwhile, there were an additional 3,856 recovered patients, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 297,509. 

Cumulatively, the government has examined 4,167,210 Covid-19 specimens from 2,613,682 people sampled.

Today, there are 162,216 suspected cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia. 

Covid-19 cases have spread in 501 districts / cities in 34 provinces. (*)
