Prepare 1.300 Rooms, Bapelkes Batam is Ready to Accommodate Covid-19 Patients
Acting Mayor of Batam, Syamsul Bahrum confirmed that Batam Health Training Center (Bapelkes) was ready to be used to accommodate Covid-19 patients.

Given that Galang Hospital also has limited places for treatment.
"So there are around 1,300 rooms that we have prepared," said Syamsul after a coordination meeting at Bapelkes, Monday (26/10/2020) afternoon.
According to him, currently RSKI is not only handing Batam residents.
But there are also Covid-19 patients from outside Batam and also Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI).
His party continues to coordinate with existing stake holders.
" Bapelkes is now ready. There are about 150 rooms that can be used," he said.
Acting Governor of Riau Islands Bahtiar Baharuddin said the number of positive cases of Covid-19 in Riau Islands is currently still increasing.
Because it requires steps to anticipate the worst possible.
The regional government, he said, ensures that the community must get the best service. Not only Batam City, but also other regencies / cities in Riau Islands must prepare things that might happen.
