The Batam Covid-19 Task Force Records 23 Additional Cases in the Second Week of December 2020

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The addition of Covid-19 cases in Batam moved to 23 patients in the second week of December 2020.

The Covid-19 Task Force in Batam also recorded the number of Covid-19 in Batam which has now reached 4,455 cases.

Currently, the number of positive cases that are still in treatment is 664 patients.  

Meanwhile, as many as 3677 patients recovered, and 114 patients died. 

These patients were treated in a number of hospitals, such as the Galang Covid-19 Hospital, which accommodates 296 patients. 

Entering the second week of December, the trend of Covid-19 cases adding is moving at 23 cases and is still increasing significantly. 

Accumulatively, the professional background of Corona patients in Batam is still dominated by private employees, namely 2,511 cases, then, the cluster of housewives is 411 cases, and entrepreneurs with 302 cases.

With the addition of cases, until now, the Covid-19 zone in Batam is still red in nine sub-districts. 

Bengkong Subdistrict, there were 57 cases under treatment, Lubuk Baja Subdistrict 69 cases, Nongsa District 27 cases.

Then, Sei Beduk District 39 cases, Sagulung District 52 cases, Batuaji District 65 cases, Batam City District 172 cases, Batu Ampar District 27, and Sekupang District 143 cases. 

Now, sub-districts in the hinterland area are still in a yellow zone, namely Bulang District with 1 case, and Belakang Padang District 2 cases. Meanwhile, Galang District is still in the green zone status without the Covid-19 case.
