UPDATE February 12: Increasing 9.869, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia Now 1.201.859

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government shows that the transmission of the coronavirus until today, Friday (12/2/2021) is still happening in the community. 

This can be seen from the increasing number of Covid-19 cases based on incoming data until Friday at 12.00 WIB.

Government data shows that there were 9,869 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 

This addition causes the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to currently reach 1,201,859 people, starting from the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020. 

This information was revealed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through data received by journalists on Friday afternoon. 

Data can be accessed by the public via the covid19.go.id and kemkes.go.id sites, with information updates every afternoon. 

Even though the number of cases continues to grow, hope arises with the increasing number of Covid-19 patients who are recovering.

In a day, there are an additional 11,000 Covid-19 patients who recover and are considered no longer infected with the coronavirus.

They were declared cured based on examination with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method which showed negative results for the coronavirus. 

Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered now reached 1,004,117 people since the beginning of the pandemic. 

Covid-19 cases now been recorded in all provinces in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua. 

There are 510 districts / cities from 34 provinces that recorded patients due to being infected with the coronavirus. (*)
