Update: Increasing 8.232, Indonesia Now Records 1.322.866 Covid-19 Cases

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Almost a year Indonesia been hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, however, the transmission of the coronavirus hasn't been controlled until now. 

This can be seen from the number of cases that continues to grow. Government data on Friday (27/2/2021) at 12.00 WIB stated that there were 8,232 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

The addition has caused the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country reach 1,322,866 people, as of the announcement of the first patient on March 2, 2020. 

This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Task Force through data to reporters on Friday afternoon. 

The government also announced that there were an additional 7,261 patients who recovered from Covid-19 in a day.

Thus, the number of Covid-19 patients who have been declared recovered now reached 1,128,672 people since the beginning of the pandemic.

On February 25-26, 2021, the government also noted that 268 Covid-19 patients died.

Thus, the total number of Covid-19 patients who died now reached 35,786 people. 

By looking at this data, there are currently 158,408 active cases of Covid-19.

In addition, the government also revealed that there are 75,822 people who are currently suspected of Covid-19. 

Covid-19 cases have been recorded in all provinces in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua.

In more detail, there are 510 districts/cities out of a total of 514 districts/cities throughout Indonesia that have recorded Covid-19 cases.  (*)
