Weather Forecast for March 11, 2021: BMKG Predicts This Area has the Potential to Rain All Day

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Hang Nadim Batam Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Department  (BMKG) issued a weather forecast for the Riau Islands region, tomorrow, Thursday (3/11/2021). 

They predict the potential for light to moderate rain in the Anambas and Natuna areas from morning to early morning. 

They also issue early warnings of high sea waves. 

BMKG urges users of sea transportation, or people who carry out activities at sea, to remain vigilant. 

In general, Riau Islands weather conditions will be sunny and cloudy tomorrow. 

This is due to the high humidity in the Riau Islands region which increases the potential for the formation of rain clouds.

"Be aware of the potential for sea waves that can reach a height of 2.0 meters in the northern waters of Anambas and 2.5 meters in the North Natuna waters," said Head of Hang Nadim Batam BMKG through Forecaster on Duty, Made Roni in a statement received by Tribunbatam. id, Wednesday (3/10/2021). 

Meanwhile, for the wind speed in the Riau Islands region, starting from 5 kilometers per hour to 37 kilometers per hour.
