According to the Head of the Riau Islands Province Tourism Department, Buralimar, the welcoming ceremony will be attended by one of the Governors of the Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad.
The welcoming ceremony, he continued, would be held simply because currently active cases of Covid-19 in the province are increasing.
It is known that the 28 foreign tourists who underwent the travel bubble scheme boarded a fast boat from Tanah Merah Port in Singapore to Nongsapura Port in Batam.

Buralimar added that they would arrive at Nongsapura Port at around 2.00 pm.
Previously, reported by Kompas.com, Tuesday, Ansar said that as many as 20 tourists from Singapore will visit Nongsa.
It is known that the trial of the travel bubble scheme between Indonesia (Riau Islands) and Singapore has started since January 2022.
Buralimar revealed that currently there are 51 foreign tourists who will visit Lagoi in Bintan Regency.
He is optimistic that on Friday (2/25/2022), there will be more than 60 tourists traveling in that area.
Meanwhile, all foreign tourists arriving at Bentan Telani, Lagoi, and Nongsapura port are required to apply health protocols.
One of them is a PCR test, then head to the hotel to wait for the test results.
