TRIBUNBATAM.id - The re-paving process of the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok, has been carried out.
The process is not as easy as imagined, there are many stages that are carried out.
President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Priandhi Satria, said the process of revamping the track had already begun.
Priandhi added that before the asphalting was carried out, the track had been cleaned.
The goal is to keep the track surface clean, so that when re-paved it can stick together and reduce the risk of damage in the future.
"The target for the completion of the re-paving at the Mandalika Circuit will be completed by March 10 at the latest. However, we hope that everything will be completed before the target," Priandhi said.

Hopefully all the repairs made can go well and be completed before the race takes place.
To note, the part that must be re-paved is before bend 17 to after bend 5.
Apart from re-paving, other facilities are also being addressed.
For example, Race Control and Grand Prix operational office buildings.
In addition, the construction of the audience stands, such as Hospitality Suites VIP Village, grandstand and Royal Box for VIP spectators.
Everything is targeted to be completed before the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia rolls over.
