One of them is 1000 Stairs Habibie Tourism Park.
It is located not far from Dangas Sekupang Beach.

Located right in the Patam Lestari village, Bukit Harimau, Sekupang, not many are familiar with the existence of these tourist attractions.
The place for this tour is quite crowded on weekends.
This place is quite interesting, it's just poorly maintained.
Self-managed and cleaned by the local community.
From its name, people will certainly ask why it is called Habibie Tourism Park, Stairs 1000.
It is said that according to Haris, residents who guarded and cleaned this place said, this area was once the residence of Mr. BJ Habibie, 3rd President of Indonesia and founder of Batam Authority.
He together lived there when there are development at Batam.
When walking around this park, they has more trees.
When walking around, it was found a building debris that was once Habibie's family's residence with a fence still intact.
"There is still a fence, there is the rest of building that has collapsed, he used to live there," explained Haris while showing location of the building.
While 1000 Stairs is found, they already has many stairs. Especially when walking or going down to the beach, you will pass a lot of stairs. However, the number of stairs is not up to 1000.
"Purpose of 1000 is calculated as a whole, so there are not only stairs going down to the beach, there are more stairs in other places in this area, and the total is more or less that much," Haris explained.
The beach is indeed a special treat from Habibie tourist park.
With position at an altitude, from here you can see the charm of sea with large ships as its accessories.
As a mainstay view of the beach in Batam, views of Singapore's neighboring skyscrapers are also clearly visible from here.
If you want to relax, there are several wooden huts to sit facing the beach. The sea breeze is so cool plus a cluster of trees that surround makes you feel at ease in the hut.
There is also a crib facility for relaxing in the swing.
When it comes down, the view is pretty good.
The beach has characteristic as a rocky beach that has settled into the mainland.
There are small ripples that disturb the quiet atmosphere.

In the past, according to Haris, the island was also the residence of Habibie family.
Even before, from this beach there was a wooden bridge that connected to it.
"Yes, Mr Habibie used to live with his family there, there are still ruins. There used to be a linking that connected the coast with island, now it has collapsed," he explained.
Haris himself took care of Habibie Park for almost 10 years. On his own initiative, according to him.
Every day he was there and cleaned the park. If someone visits, he only charges voluntary fees.
"If that motorcycle is IDR. 5,000, for car is IDR 10,000, but it's up to you for giving," he explained.
On certain days it's will crowded according to Haris .
For example, at weekend or when the last new year, visitors burst. Whereas on a normal day, visitors are not crowded.
"Ordinary days are quiet, indeed not many people know. But on weekends it is quite crowded, even the last new year was very crowded, at night people watched Singapore's fireworks from here, it was very clear," he said.
Habibie Tourism Park can be used as a family tourism recommendation in Batam.
If you want to come, this beach is right after Dangas Beach.
You just need to follow the signpost from Dangas Beach.
It is better to bring lunch, because food stalls there cannot be ascertained to be open every day.
Approximately 40 minutes from Batam Center, you can easily get to this beach.
