Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal Shares Food Packages to Tanjung Uma Residents, Batam

TRIBUNBATAM.id - In the framework of its 13th anniversary, the manager of Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal, PT Citra Tritunas, provided relief packages in the form of food supplies to residents residing in the area of Tanjung Uma, Lubuk Baja, Batam, Riau Islands.

PT Citra Tritunas is part of the Citra Buana Group.

The Managing Director of Citra Buana Group, Jimmi Ho, said that the provision of the nine basic necessities was a form of concern for the people of Batam.  

Jimmi said that the provision of food packages in the hundreds of packages was usually done during celebrations and during Ramadan every year.

Accompanied by the General Manager of Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal , Sugiarto, along with Tanjung Uma Urban Village representatives, Jimmi hopes that the provision of the nine basic necessities can benefit the community.

Community leader in the village of Tanjung Uma, H. Ibrahim, represented the other community, giving thanks for the assistance.

Ibrahim hopes that the free food distribution agenda can continue every year.

Meanwhile, regarding the terminal, Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal General Manager, Sugiarto said, there was an average passenger turnover at 1.5 thousand in the beginning of the week and 4 to 5 thousand in the weekend at the ferry terminal that located in the Jodoh area.
