Sultan Mahmud Riayat Syah Mosque in Batam Will Have 5 Towers As High As 77 meters

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Head of the Cipta Karya and Spatial Department, Batam City, Suhar said that in 2020, the Batam City Government will build 5  77-meter towers in the Sultan Mahmud Riayat Syah Mosque, Batu Aji, Batam.

Later on, these 5 towers will surround each corner of the main dome and corner of the corridor. 

"Previously, 6 towers were indeed designed. One tower of view and 5 towers to improve the building. Because there are other needs, we towed these 5 towers because they were not included in the current contract," Suhar told the Tribun Batam after submitting the budget to the DPRD Commission III. Batam City, Tuesday (5/11/2019).

He continued, his party had made its construction. As planned, these 5 poles will be built using steel. 

The construction of these 5 towers requires a budget of Rp. 42 billion.

But not including mosque facilities, such as air conditioning, carpets, lighting and others. 

Overall, the total cost of construction and facilities, said Suhar, his party will need funds from the budget of around Rp. 107 billion.

He added, this development was not included in the Mulitiyears contract for 3 years.

While this multiyears contract expires on September 30, 2019.
