Muhammad Sani Hospital Will Prepare a Special Isolation Room for Corona Virus Patients in Karimun

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Muhammad Sani Karimun is preparing an isolation room for patients exposed to the Corona virus.

Muhammad Sani Hospital actually has an isolation room. In fact, the room was used to isolate patients exposed to the MERS virus.

But for now, the special treatment room is being used for patients suffering from drug-resistant of TB. 

"RSUD already has an isolation room. We use it for the patients who experience the drug-resistant of TB, whose numbers are now increasing. For the Corona virus, we have prepared a new isolation room," said Muhammad Sani Hospital Director, Zulhadi, Friday (31/1 / 2020).

Zulhadi said, so far there haven't been found patients in Karimun who experience symptoms of Corona virus exposure. 

Reported earlier, a pediatric patient who had recently returned from Malaysia suffered from a high fever. But after receiving treatment, the Muhammad Sani Regional Hospital stated that the patient only had a normal fever. 

Muhammad Sani Hospital Officer takes serious care of a child who has a high fever.
