Already a Year, Marina Sekupang Road Damaged, Residents: Government Don't Close Your Eyes

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -For more than a year, Marina Sekupang causeway has been damaged without repair.

The asphalt of the road section broke until the middle of the road was pothole, and even every time it rained the road became a puddle.

The road can endanger motorists who pass.

Based on TRIBUNBATAM.id monitoring, Tuesday (05/12/2020) morning, motorists who pass must reduce speed.

Occasionally they seemed to avoid the hole that became a pool of water.

They even took turns crossing.

A local youth resident, Ridho admitted that the damaged road had become a daily sight for him.

"What else can I say, yes it is indeed like the road. Even the condition of the road has been a long time, but it's like Batam Government closed their eyes," he said.

He also hopes that the government can immediately respond to the problem of the road.
