JAKARTA, TRIBUNBATAM.id – Ascott Indonesia successfully wrapped up ASR Festival 2026, which took place from 3–7 June 2026 at The Forum, Mall Kelapa Gading 3, Jakarta.
Now in its fourth year, the annual festival carried the theme “Beyond the Stay” and formed part of Ascott’s 30 & Beyond celebration, marking 30 years of creating memorable experiences for guests across Indonesia.
The excitement was felt throughout the five-day festival, which welcomed more than 7,000 visitors to The Forum, Mall Kelapa Gading 3.
The strong turnout reflected the growing interest in travel experiences that go beyond accommodation, bringing together families, ASR members, and travel enthusiasts through a vibrant line-up of offers, activities, and entertainment.
Throughout the festival, visitors enjoyed exclusive offers on hotel stays, dining experiences, weddings, meetings, and social events across Ascott Indonesia’s diverse portfolio.
The event gave guests the opportunity to discover and explore Ascott’s wide range of brands in Indonesia, including Ascott, Citadines, lyf, Somerset, Oakwood, The Unlimited Collection, Preference Hotels, Vertu Hotels, Harris Hotels, Fox Hotels, Yello Hotels, Pop! Hotels, as well as managed properties such as Kimaya Hotels, Pesona Alam, The Botanica Sanctuary, and Shanaya Resort Malang.
ASR Festival 2026 featured a variety of engaging programmes each day, from cooking demonstrations and Indonesian heritage-inspired activities to lifestyle and sustainability-focused talks.
One of the festival’s highlights was the return of Discover the Star – Kids Singing Competition, a crowd favourite that gave young talents the opportunity to shine on the ASR Festival stage.
Reflecting the spirit of Beyond the Stay, ASR Festival 2026 featured initiatives that encouraged a positive impact beyond travel.
A special highlight took place on 5 June 2026, in conjunction with World Environment Day, when Ascott Indonesia hosted a talk show on mangrove conservation.
The session explored the role of mangroves in supporting environmental sustainability, local economic development, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, reflecting Ascott’s ongoing commitment to responsible hospitality through Ascott CARES.
The festival’s sustainability efforts extended beyond the discussion stage. For every one stay voucher purchased during ASR Festival 2026, Ascott Indonesia pledged three mangrove seedlings to be planted together with Mangrove Jakarta in celebration of World Mangrove Day.
Through this initiative, Ascott Indonesia contributed more than 5,000 mangrove seedlings, creating a lasting impact for both local communities and the environment.
Philip Barnes, Country General Manager, The Ascott Limited Indonesia, said, “This year’s ASR Festival is especially meaningful as it coincides with our 30th anniversary celebration in Indonesia through 30 & Beyond.
Over the past three decades, we have grown alongside our guests, partners, and communities across the country. Through Beyond the Stay, we want to show that staying with Ascott is about much more than accommodation – it’s about creating meaningful connections, memorable experiences, and positive impact.”
