TRIBUNBATAM.id -  After join the opening of a new European distribution center that fully supported by renewable energy, and being included in the Pact Mode recently, Nike announced the plans to move towards Zero Carbon and zero-waste systems to help and protect the future of sports.

The initiative called by "Move to Zero" is a reaction to the factors of the climate change that have an impact on the world of sports.

One of them is the higher temperature which affects to the athlete's stamina as well as the winter playing field.

In its statement, Nike considered that climate change could reduce the time spent in the field by up to two months, for the Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi regions by 2050.
