Covid-19 Update September 4, 2021: Active Cases Decrease in 3 Consecutive Days to 160,699

Active cases of Covid-19 fell for the third day in a row. Currently, the number has become 160,699, after reducing 7,618 cases on Saturday, (9/4/2021)

However, the government is still implementing the policy of Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in a number of regions.

The level of implementation of PPKM is adjusted to the level of transmission in each area. 

As of Friday (9/4/2021), the Ministry of Health noted that the national vaccination rate had been carried out on 65 million citizens (31.64 percent) for dose 1, and 37 million for dose 2.

DKI Jakarta is still the province with the highest vaccination rate reaching 115 percent, followed by Bali with 93.23 percent, Riau Islands 76.93 percent, DIY 57.29 percent, and North Sulawesi with 39.16 percent. 

The five lowest vaccination provinces were Lampung with 12.63 percent, North Maluku with 14.89 percent, West Sumatra with 16.44 percent, Central Sulawesi with 16.97 percent, and Papua with 17.16 percent.
